Screen printing onto glossy black paper.
This beautiful fragment of wallpaper was hidden underneath a layer of turquoise matt emulsion and is the only sample of the design. The black figures are made of thick chalky distemper.
This laminate of two wallpaper layers is very dirty and damaged. The small square of pinkish pattern shows the original colour of the paper where an overlap has saved some of the pattern from fading and dirt.
